At the Read Me: An Anthology Launch Event

(I might have been feverish and light-headed the whole day, but whatever, everything turned out fine)

I have discovered that the older I get the more I seem to talk with my hands...somewhat reminiscent of my mother...and then I look at pictures like this and realize that I am starting to look like her...

Which isn't bad, I just wish I'd inherited her nice long legs! 

(I bemoan this all the time, you'd think I'd have accepted this fact by now!)

Since coming to Warwick I've become a much more spur of the moment type of person. This change has given me a number of opportunities which I cherish. This past weekend is an example of this sort of event.

My sister came to Coventry for some quality sister time before she headed back to Minnesota

As a treat after a stressful ten days leading people through Paris I bought us a spa day

It was exactly what we needed

After an absence of barely two months I returned to the city of lights.  This time with a completely different purpose.  Instead of a three day holiday with a friend,  I was leading a group of twenty teens and adults from Minnesota on a ten day educational tour.  With them were my immediate family,  none of whom I'd seen in eight months.
