We have a washer and dryer in our kitchen - thank goodness. The only thing that is different is that they take a lot longer to wash and dry and their isn't a dryer vent! When someone does a load we usually have to open the kitchen window to let the steam out. Isn't that odd? You'd think with all the humidity issues this country has they would require a dryer vent like in the states.
How far do you have to go to a laundromat--or is there one in your flat? Any unique Brit traits in this aspect of life?
