It was raining (hard) so Anni and I decided that we were going to wait for Manu to drive to campus.

We made it as far as the bus stop and Pippa died.

We had to push her so she didn't get run over by an incoming bus.

As we waited what did Feilpe have to do? 

Yep, hop out for a smoke, we hadn't just left the house 5 minutes before or anything.

After giving Pippa a little rest she finally started and we took her home - afraid to have her stuck on campus -or worse - anywhere in between. 

As we drove away the 12 (our bus) pulled into the stop, of course

Then we had to walk back to the bus stop and wait for the next one - Anni and I had to loan Manu bus fair!

Satwik claimed it was the "god of dissertations" telling us to stay home

To make the trip to campus even longer, one of the roads that the bus usually takes was closed so it had to take a detour that added almost ten minutes to the journey.

Maybe Satwick was right...
